An important aspect of skill development

Skill development, as the name suggests, is an initiative the government takes to improve employment opportunities. A skill development program is highly required in India as 60% of the workforces are young. This is a kind of blessing for us. To gather dividends from this large workforce, employment opportunities should be improved. As per the current statistics, 10% of the graduates are employed, and the rest lacks in skill set. Therefore, they are unemployed. India's GDP is growing at a fast rate, around 6 to 8%, but job creation is lacking behind. Thus, the government of India has taken the initiative of a national skilldevelopment programme through private and public partnerships. There are several opportunities for taking education from a private institution. Government institution’s current scenario is excellent and provides enough training to students for future job opportunities.

How to manage skill development?

Skill development starts with finding upcoming job opportunities and segmentation according to the needs and feasibility of training candidates. One must adequately identify the skill development program's stakeholders like government entities, state government, private training institutes and Ngo.
